Wrexham fans have been debating Phil Parkinson’s decision to snub Ollie Palmer once again.
Ollie Palmer has been told he can leave Wrexham during the summer transfer window.
However, the meeting in which that message was sent took place before Palmer scored twice against Hull City in the Carabao Cup.
The number 35 was brought back into the squad for the League Cup clash after Kieffer Moore suffered an injury.
But despite scoring twice in midweek, Palmer was left out against West Brom on Saturday.

Wrexham fans comment on Ollie Palmer snub
Moore made a return to the eleven, but the long-time club servant was once again axed from the squad.
Wrexham lost 3-2 vs West Brom, and fans have now been suggesting Palmer should have been on the bench for the tie, as he is the most similar player to Moore they have.
One fan wrote: “That time you need Palmer coming off the bench.”
Another echoed: “Time to bring on Palmer.”
“You need a guy LIKE Palmer on the bench. A player for the box that can make a long cross if you’re one (or two apparently) down,” tweeted a third.
A fourth Wrexham fan wrote: “Palmer done more than enough to make the bench ahead of Hardie.”
And another responded: “I think Palmer should replace Moore the last 10 to 15 minutes to keep a similar tall large striker threat in the game late, and he would have fresh legs like he did in the Hull City match. I think Fletcher had another year in him also.”
What Phil Parkinson said about Ollie Palmer leaving Wrexham
Parkinson praised Palmer after he scored twice against Hull and admitted the striker ‘wants to stay’.
He said: “I’m so pleased for him because he’s been an iconic player for us over the last three or four years, and the supporters love him,” said Parkinson.
“When we made the decision to bring players in in January, I explained why I felt we needed to add an extra impetus into the team – and it worked because we got promotion and the two up front did really well.
“But he kept working on the training pitch and kept contributing in the dressing room. I’ve always said to him that you’ve got as much respect for that as what you’ve done in terms of as a player.
“Of course, he wants to stay and be a part of it, and we’ll see how we go on in the next few weeks of the transfer window. I don’t think Ollie could have done much more tonight, and that impact from the bench we’ve seen over many years is so important.”
‘We’ll see how we go on in the next few weeks of the transfer window’ is perhaps the most interesting line from Parkinson’s comments as it doesn’t completely rule out Palmer staying beyond September 1.
But after he was once again left out against the Baggies, the manager’s mind does seem to be made up.
