Ryan Reynolds has proven himself right following a recent announcement regarding a stake sale of Wrexham.
Ryan Reynolds joined Rob McElhenney in buying Wrexham from the club’s Supporters Trust back in 2021.
The duo paid £2m for the Red Dragons, who were valued at £100m earlier this year.
However, a new estimated valuation has emerged in the last week as Reynolds and McElhenney plan an investment.
It was shared by Bloomberg that the Wrexham owners want to sell a £350m stake in the club.
The idea behind this is to help the Welsh outfit raise capital and be competitive in the Championship.
The news of a stake sale comes over a year after Reynolds made a prediction that has proven to be spot-on.

Ryan Reynolds predicted Wrexham future
Reynolds shared his stance on funding Wrexham all the way back in April 2024.
The club were still a League Two team at the time and have now climbed up to the second tier of English football for the first time since the 1980s.
At the time, the North American actor predicted that as Wrexham continue their rise up the EFL, outside investment would be needed.
He said: “History has an unbelievable amount of examples of how this was not the best idea, but we’re not in it to make money and ——- it, we won’t.
“I think we recognize how lucky we are that we can be in this position where it isn’t about making money or any of those things. I mean, you have to be in a pretty privileged spot to be able to do this to begin with. But eventually, you know, as we climb up the leagues, we’re going to need outside help in order to sustain this club.
“One of our great mission statements and – this is something that is still a huge target – is to create a sustainable model for a sports club like this and allow it to support itself long after we’re dead and gone.”

Allyn family net worth
Fresh faces have already joined Rob and Ryan on their journey, with the Allyn family investing in Wrexham late last year.
The Allyn family’s net worth is said to be in excess of £1bn, making the majority of their money after selling their family business back in 2015.
But it’s not just them who have been lured in by the prospect of becoming involved with the Red Dragons.
Billionaires have asked about investing in Wrexham multiple times over the years, with ‘dozens’ thought to have contacted Rob and Ryan.
