The 2025 winter transfer has now drawn to a close and Phil Parkinson has delivered his verdict.
Wrexham had a very slow start to the transfer window but eventually completed a number of signings while letting some players depart.
Deadline Day saw Anthony Forde exit the club by mutual consent after failing to break into the League One squad this season.
James Jones was also allowed to leave along with two more players over the course of the transfer window.
Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer were wanted by EFL teams late in the winter window as well but ended up staying put.
On the incomings front, meanwhile, Wrexham signed three players, all of which have now made their debuts.
Ryan Longman has excelled since his transfer, providing three assists in just 102 minutes of football.
Big things were expected of Jay Rodriguez and Sam Smith as well and now, Phil Parkinson has shared his verdict on the January transfer window.

The Red Dragons broke their transfer record for Smith while, hopefully, fixing the club’s biggest problem area this season.
Now, as per Leader Live, Parkinson has shared his thoughts on the most recent window, stating it was good for Wrexham.
“We brought three players in over the window. We’ve had a good window and the window is now shut.
“Everybody knows where they stand and this group is the one which is going to give everything they can to finish the season well.”
However, the manager also expressed his delight that it’s now shut as he believed that it can unsettle a squad due to speculation around players.
He added: “I’m pleased the window’s closed, I’ve got to be honest with you, because I think it can unsettle the group.
“A lot of managers talk about that because there’s always speculation and players are unsure of their position within the group so I am pleased the window’s closed.”

In the same interview, Parkinson went on to praise four Wrexham men for the work they did over the winter.
He added that supporters aren’t aware of what they do to get players through the door.
The Wrexham manager stated: “The window is really difficult. Supporters don’t understand the work that myself, Shaun Harvey, Michael Williamson, Les Reed and Humphrey Ker put in; a lot of people have worked hard to bring the players in that we’ve got.
“I’m very pleased with the business we’ve done, they are great additions.
“We’ve brought in two quality young players in Sam and Ryan, and obviously the experience of Jay which gives us great quality at the top of the pitch so we’ve got to be pleased.”
Humphrey Ker and Shaun Harvey now have new Wrexham roles following the close of the transfer window and it’ll be interesting to see how recruitment changes going forward.
