The transfer merry-go-round is in full swing, and Paul Mullin’s future at Wrexham looks increasingly uncertain.
The 2025 summer transfer window opened up on June 1, and we have already seen plenty of names tipped to join the Red Dragons.
However, Phil Parkinson has confirmed that, as well as the eight soon-to-be-released stars, players will leave Wrexham this summer.
One man who has already been linked with an exit this summer is iconic striker, Paul Mullin.
Mullin was backed to leave Wrexham last month after he fell out of favour and did not play a single league game after January 28.
It then emerged that League One side Wigan Athletic wanted Mullin and that the Welsh outfit were willing to let him depart for free.

Sam Dalby could impact Paul Mullin future
However, after initial links to the Liverpool-born ace, it then emerged Wigan were eyeing Sam Dalby.
Dalby has rejected a Wrexham contract and is set to depart the North America-backed side for free on June 30 when his deal expires.
Had the Englishman decided to join Wigan on a free, it seemed unlikely that Mullin would also be making his way to the Brick Community Stadium in the same window.
However, a fresh update now means the 100-plus-goal striker could be once again at the top of the Latics’ wishlist.
It comes as reports have now emerged that Bolton Wanderers are moving to the front of the queue for Dalby, who has visited their club in the last week.
Should the ex-Dundee United loanee opt to pick Bolton ahead of Wigan, the latter will surely ramp up their efforts to get a deal for Mullin done this summer.

Which strikers do Wrexham want to sign
With Steven Fletcher gone, Dalby leaving at the end of this summer, and Mullin having heavy transfer interest, it appears room is being made for a new striker.
Wrexham want to sign Callum Robinson from Cardiff City this summer after he hit double figures in a struggling team.
Ryan Hardie has been linked in the last month as well, after previous interest in the January transfer window.
Meanwhile, Leeds United’s price tag for Joe Gelhardt has been set after the Dragons also tried to land him in the winter window.
