Wrexham star Kieffer Moore was in action for Wales on Wednesday afternoon during their 1-0 win over Kazakhstan in the World Cup qualifiers.
Kieffer Moore has been in fine form for his club this season, and so too for country. Earlier in the summer, Wrexham signed Moore from Sheffield United in a deal worth around £2.5 million and the 33-year-old has since scored four goals in five games for the Dragons.
For Phil Parkinson, Moore fits Wrexham’s style of play perfectly: the big target man is getting on the end of everything and scoring the goals that Wrexham need to compete in the Championship.
His fine form finds him in the Wales international squad for the September break alongside teammates Danny Ward and Nathan Broadhead.

For the game against Kazakhstan on Wednesday afternoon, it was only Moore of the Wrexham players who started. Both Ward and Broadhead pulled out due to injury, but Moore started the game and scored the only goal of the game too.
In typical Moore fashion, he poked home a loose ball inside the box, handing Wales a much-needed 1-0 win on their route to World Cup qualification. Needless to say, the Welsh fanbase are hailing Moore after the win, which keeps them top of their World Cup qualifying group.

Needless to say, Wales fans are lauding Moore and his recent scoring form, which has seen Wales claim a huge win on the road to World Cup qualification.
“Kieffer Moore is on a generational run,” wrote one Welsh supporter, as another posted online: “Can’t stop scoring, Kieffer Moore!”
Others weighed in, too. One Wales fan posted: “Kieffer Moore is inevitable,” as a similar comment read: “Kieffer Moore class.”
“We all love Kieffer Moore,” pleaded one supporter. Another added: “Kieffer Moore on fire at the minute.”
If Moore can maintain his fitness and this scoring form as well, then Wrexham have every chance of challenging for another promotion this season.
