Wrexham are intent on making further additions this summer despite already breaking their transfer record twice.
Liberato Cacace and Lewis O’Brien have already made history this summer and the club record is set to be broken for a third time with Wrexham having agreed a fee for Nathan Broadhead.
Phil Parkinson is intent on strengthening his defensive options after bolstering his midfield and attack, with the Wrexham boss looking for Premier League experience.
Wrexham have ‘approached’ Conor Coady over a move from Leicester City and Wrexham Insider takes a look at the impact a potential move for Coady would have on the current squad.

Winners from a potential Conor Coady transfer to Wrexham
Phil Parkinson
Parkinson has been chasing an experienced man to sit at the heart of his back three all summer long and could finally get his wish in Coady.
The Red Dragons have pursued the likes of Craig Dawson and Ben Davies in a bid to sign an intelligent defender to help their Championship cause but to no avail so far.
Coady is the perfect signing for the club given his leadership skills and studious attitude to the tactical side of the game.
With ten England caps and 198 Premier League appearances, this is a signing that would have a huge impact on the team.
Max Cleworth
Max Cleworth is looking to prove a point in his first season in the second tier and having a player like Coady alongside him would do wonders for his game.
Shaun Harvey has backed Cleworth to play in the Premier League and Coady is a figure that the 22-year-old could learn so much from both on and off the pitch.
Their games would work well in tandem on the pitch but to take that next level, players require a real tactical knowledge and Coady can provide that to young Cleworth.

Lewis Brunt
Similarly to Cleworth, Lewis Brunt is another young defender preparing to embark upon his first season at Championship level.
Brunt has all the attributes and capabilities to become a regular fixture for Parkinson this season but having that experience of Coady next to him will only serve as a positive.
There will be tough times for Wrexham throughout the campaign and having another leader in the dressing room like Coady will be vital to pulling the team out the other side.
Losers from a potential Conor Coady transfer to Wrexham
Eoghan O’Connell
Ryan Reynolds is a big fan of Eoghan O’Connell but it appears that the Irish defender is viewed merely as a squad player this campaign.
O’Connell came through some sticky patches of form last season to become one of the most consistent performers in the second half of the campaign and really led from the front to help gain promotion.
However, there are fears that he may struggle in the Championship with his lack of pace and a move for Coady would certainly move him further down the pecking order.
The 29-year-old is limited to playing in the centre of the back three and should Coady stay fit and in form, his chances of game time would be limited.

Thomas O’Connor
Thomas O’Connor lost his place in the Wrexham side during the second half of last season and will be fearing for his future with the acquisition of Cacace already in place.
A further move for Coady and it is hard to see O’Connor really featuring much for the Red Dragons next season.
Wrexham could cash in on O’Connor having had previous interest from Championship and League One sides.
With Parkinson having to stick to a 25-man squad next season, departures are inevitable and O’Connor could be one of those to move on.
