Wrexham are moving away from the Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer era, but one man is ready to fill the void.
When younger and newer fans think of Wrexham, two of the main players that come to mind will be Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer.
The pair helped fire the Red Dragons from the fifth tier of English football up to the Championship for the first time since the 1980s.
However, gone are the days when the club icons were the first names on Phil Parkinson’s team sheet.
Mullin has moved to Wigan Athletic on loan, while Palmer has departed permanently for Swindon Town.
But one man is already stepping up to replace the goals the English duo once contributed.

Kieffer Moore has become as important as Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer
Wrexham signed Kieffer Moore from Sheffield United over the summer in a £2m deal.
Moore was mocked by some fans following the move, and there were doubts over his ability to lead the line.
However, two months into the season and the Welsh international has more than proven he is the main man in Parkinson’s attack.
The Wrexham manager has changed up his formation, starting the ex-Blade as the sole centre-forward.
Moore has stepped up, already scoring five goals and assisting one in 10 appearances across all competitions.
In comparison, Palmer scored three and assisted two in 31 appearances for Wrexham last term, while Mullin netted five and assisted one in 32.

Wrexham will have Kieffer Moore concern
Moore’s transfer has proven to be a great bit of business for Parkinson.
However, until at least January, there will be concerns about Wrexham’s front line.
Moore is a traditional big man and plays that role very well at the Racecourse Ground.
However, outside of the 33-year-old, Parkinson has no other options in that role.
Ryan Hardie isn’t playing for Wrexham currently, while Sam Smith is a good striker, but doesn’t possess the same traits that have made Moore so dangerous this season.
