Wrexham are likely to bring in new striking firepower this summer as Phil Parkinson prepares for life in the Championship.
Phil Parkinson will be considering signings across the pitch but with a real focus on attacking quality.
Wrexham snapped up Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez in January, with both players likely to feature prominently in the Championship.
Steven Fletcher is leaving Wrexham though, and other strikers could follow him out of the STōK Cae Ras.
Modou Faal could benefit from a loan move, while all eyes are on the future of Paul Mullin and Ollie Palmer.
The two Wrexham heroes have fallen down the pecking order and may move on this summer.

Danny Ings could reunite with Wrexham coach
Wrexham have been linked with a couple of strikers early in the transfer window.
CF Montreal’s Sunusi Ibrahim is allegedly on Wrexham’s radar, with the Nigerian forward a surprise target.
The Wrexham Insider understands Danny Ings is on Wrexham’s wish list after leaving West Ham United.
Whereas Ibrahim is a young forward making his way in the game, Ings is an experienced goalscorer at the highest level.
Ings is a free agent this summer and could be the latest experienced addition to this Wrexham squad.
One interesting connection comes from the 2013-14 season, in which Ings won promotion to the Premier League with Burnley.
Ings hit 21 goals to fire Burnley to promotion, and one of his teammates in that campaign was David Jones.
Jones played a key role for the Clarets, appearing in all 46 league games to help Sean Dyche clinch promotion.
The midfielder even played one Premier League season with Ings, with the pair playing almost 80 games together during their time at Turf Moor.
Now part of Parkinson’s coaching staff at Wrexham, Jones could reunite with Ings with promotion to the Premier League in mind once again.
Jones may even be able to have a word or two with Ings and sell him on the idea of a move to North Wales.
That promotion may have been 11 years ago, but they could do it all again at Wrexham – and their connection could be one way for Wrexham to win the race for Ings.
Wrexham must see off Watford in Danny Ings race
Ings may find that Premier League offers are thin on the ground this summer.
The 32-year-old was a star for Southampton, but goals have been in short supply since his January 2023 move to West Ham United.
Ings managed just four goals in 52 Premier League games for the Hammers and may find that he has to drop into the Championship this summer.
Wrexham are keen, but reports suggest that Watford are also interested in signing Ings this summer.
The Hornets are a solid Championship outfit and will pose a threat to Wrexham’s hopes of a deal.
Few clubs can match Wrexham’s buzz right now, though, and the chance to play a part in the rise under Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds should appeal to Ings.
