Wrexham fans are preparing for two club legends to depart this summer.
Wigan are interested in Paul Mullin after the striker was moved further down Phil Parkinson’s pecking order following the arrival of Ryan Hardie.
Ollie Palmer has been told he can leave after having not featured for Wrexham in the league since January during a 3-2 defeat to Stevenage at the Racecourse Ground.
Parkinson told Palmer to leave on loan during the January transfer window but the forward wanted to stay and fight for his place. His departure this summer looks more certain and he may have already revealed where he would like to go.

Ollie Palmer thought he would retire at Wimbledon before making Wrexham move
Palmer is devastated over his Wrexham exile and now has to come to terms with moving on from North Wales this summer.
The striker still has a lot to offer the game and speaking to Wrexham’s official website upon signing for the club back in 2022, Palmer revealed that he thought he would retire at former club Wimbledon.
Palmer stated: “I’ll be completely honest, I wasn’t really worrying about any other football clubs at the time, I was just getting on with my own football.
“Again, I was really happy at Wimbledon, it’s a fantastic football club and I’ll be totally honest, I thought I was going to end my football career there and that’s probably the level of excitement you’re going to have from me coming here after speaking to the gaffer.”
After having secured promotion to League One with a 1-0 win over Walsall in the play-off final, a return to Plough Lane could be the perfect opportunity for Palmer to extend his career.
A transfer abroad could suit Ollie Palmer
Palmer has spent most of the off season in America on holiday and promoting his clothing brand. A transfer to the MLS could be an intriguing option for the 33-year-old.
Ryan Reynolds showed Palmer around New York during a visit last month and clubs would be keen to sign the striker for his power and ability to attract an audience.

Wrexham will jet off for a pre-season tour of Australia in July and Palmer will hope to have his future sorted by the time they depart.
Vancouver Whitecaps are another possible destination for Palmer however, it remains to be seen whether the striker takes the brave step to move himself and his family overseas.
