Wrexham are expected to be active on the incomings and outgoings front in the final few days of the 2025 winter transfer window.
It has been a fairly quiet 2025 January transfer window for Wrexham but there have been a couple of exits and arrivals.
On the incomings front, Ryan Longman signed from Hull City and made his debut off the bench in a 3-2 defeat to Stevenage this past Tuesday.
No more signings have been made at this stage, though Wrexham are interested in Sam Smith of Reading as they look to bolster their striker ranks.
Meanwhile, after flopping in Wales, Billy Waters has joined Oldham Athletic in a permanent deal this month.
Jake Bickerstaff extended his stay at Altrincham as well after spending the first half of 2024/25 on loan there.

Phil Parkinson ready to sanction Wrexham loan deal in January transfer window
Now, another player is looking likely to follow the duo out the door before deadline day on February 1st.
Wrexham have a very well-stocked squad, even if it’s weak in some areas, making it hard for young players to break into the senior team.
Now, journalist Pete O’Rourke has reported that Morecambe, Forest Green and Oldham are all interested in taking Aaron James on loan for the second half of the campaign.
He adds that Phil Parkinson would benefit from a loan move in order to garner more experience.

What Phil Parkinson has said about Aaron James
The 19-year-old is very low in the Wrexham centre-back pecking order currently.
In turn, he has only made three senior appearances in 2024/25, all of which have come in the EFL Trophy.
One of those outings came in a defeat to Port Vale and when speaking after the match, Parkinson called James ‘immense’.
He said: “We have got to give Aaron a lot of credit for his performance against Port Vale. I thought he was immense.
“He is an under-the-radar player. We tried to get him a loan move in the summer but we didn’t quite manage to achieve that for him.
“I just hope there were people watching him against Port Vale because he has got incredible pace and athleticism, and he does what it says on the tin.
“He defends with the heart of a lion and we trust him playing in our first-team. But I am sure someone in January is going to look at these games he has played for us and give him a chance somewhere.”
