Wrexham are set to compete in the Championship next season and are facing some heavy competition for their transfer targets.
The Red Dragons have largely been able to land whichever players they have really wanted since Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds took over.
But now that they are a Championship club with much higher-level names being eyed, the battle for their signatures is much tougher.
Watford are interested in signing Danny Ings after we reported he had held talks over a move to Wales.
Elsewhere, Wrexham want Harry Darling, who is due to become a free agent at the end of the month when his Swansea City contract expires, but a number of clubs are in for the defender.

What Norwich City are saying about signing Wrexham target Harry Darling
Rumours of Rangers interest in the Swansea ace have emerged in the last week or so.
Meanwhile, it emerged last week that Norwich City had joined the race for Darling, who Birmingham City are also looking at.
Now, speaking to EFL Analysis, Graeme Bailey has provided an update on the situation.
When doing so, he said he’s heard that Norwich believe that they are the favourites to land the Wrexham transfer target.
He said: “We know Birmingham and Wrexham have had a look at him, as did Stoke, and he’s got a lot of options on the table. He’s a very popular player. From what I’m hearing, Norwich think they are the favourites in England at this point, and it’s just a case of how much the Rangers and Martin situation has muddied the waters.
“Swansea still held out a little hope of keeping him, but that looks unlikely now.”

Wrexham alternatives if Norwich sign Harry Darling
Darling fulfills the Wrexham transfer model of signing free agents earlier in windows but there are plenty more options out there if they miss out on the centre-back.
Craig Dawson is wanted by Wrexham and would bring a wealth of experience to the club following many successful years in the Premier League.
Ben Davies is linked heavily, but his wages and Tottenham triggering a one-year extension in his deal aren’t ideal.
Aaron Cresswell is another option for Wrexham, who seemingly want a left-footed centre-back this summer.
