Wrexham are set to smash their transfer record again, and their spending will be among the highest in the Championship.
At present, Wrexham have officially confirmed the signing of six senior players, Lewis O’Brien being the latest

O’Brien is the club’s new record transfer, setting Ryan Reynolds and Rob Mac back around £5m.
However, much like the deal for Liberato Cacace, that record is not expected to stand for long.
It comes as Wrexham near a deal for Nathan Broadhead, who is joining from Ipswich Town.
It’s been reported that Broadhead will cost £7.5m and is coming for what are thought to be ‘significant’ wages.
Mac and Reynolds have always backed Wrexham well, and this summer has been no different.

Wrexham transfer spend compared to every Championship team
There is a lot more money floating around the Championship thanks to parachute payments and players’ values just generally being a lot higher.
Tom Brady’s Birmingham City are also able to spend big as they eye promotion to the Premier League.
But should the deal for Broadhead come off, which is looking very likely at this stage, Wrexham will become one of the biggest spenders in the second tier.
It’s unlikely they will remain so high up the list come September 1, but their spending has been impressive.

Wrexham could spend more money after Nathan Broadhead
Broadhead’s arrival will mean Wrexham have broken their transfer record three times in the space of less than a month.
Signing seven new players, most of whom have Championship or Premier League experience, is a great summer in and of itself.
But Wrexham still want another striker added to their squad, and are eyeing a move for Sheffield United’s Kieffer Moore.
Moore has a price tag of £4m, which would see the club’s spending creep over the £20m mark.
