Wrexham’s winning run at home has come to an end after a frustrating 0-0 draw against Huddersfield Town on Tuesday night.
Wrexham were on a real high having beaten Rotherham United 1-0 on the road over the weekend.
Phil Parkinson was hoping to turn this Yorkshire double-header into two wins but it just wasn’t to be at the STōK Cae Ras.
Wrexham never really clicked in the final third and a 0-0 draw was probably a fair result in the end.
Four points from these two games against Rotherham United and Huddersfield Town is still a decent return for Wrexham.
Both sides were relegated from the Championship last season and Wrexham have competed brilliantly against both.

Phil Parkinson on Paul Mullin
Wrexham couldn’t quite find the big moment in the final third with Man of the Match Ryan Barnett having the only shot on target.
Paul Mullin was desperate to score against Huddersfield some 10 years since being released by the Terriers.
Mullin was on a real high after scoring the winner against Rotherham on Saturday and Jack Marriott’s injury means he started again on Tuesday night.
Mullin managed two shots against Huddersfield but neither were on target as Wrexham couldn’t find the breakthrough.
Wrexham boss Parkinson has now discussed Mullin’s performance whilst speaking on Match Day Live on Wrexham’s official YouTube channel.
Parkinson noted that Mullin is ‘in a good place’ and praised his work ethic against Huddersfield.
Parkinson added that he was tempted to bring Mullin off but left him on in the hope of a moment of magic late in the day.
“He’s in a good place and I thought he put a real good shift in again tonight,” said Parkinson.
“I was tempted to bring him off with 10 minutes to go, but you always feel that a moment might come for him and it nearly did with that header to win us the game.
“I thought he really put in a great performance of honesty for us tonight,” he added.
Mullin must carry the load in Wrexham attack
Mullin has been the star man in Wrexham’s attack ever since arriving in 2021.
After scoring goals for fun in the National League and League Two, Mullin was facing a big step up to League One level.
Saturday’s goal at Rotherham was his first league strike of the season, but that slow start is understandable after Mullin’s summer surgery.
Now ‘back to his best’ in training according to Parkinson, Mullin will now need to really carry the goalscoring burden.
Marriott is facing four months out whilst veteran striker Steven Fletcher is now looking at a spell on the sidelines too.
Modou Faal is an option in attack but he is still very raw, meaning Mullin and Ollie Palmer will be relied upon for goals for the foreseeable future as injury problems striker for Parkinson.
