Phil Parkinson has been heaping praise on Wrexham star Paul Mullin following the striker’s recent achievement.
Wrexham ended their 2024/25 season in style, securing a comfortable win over Lincoln City on May 3.
The Red Dragons signed off for the campaign with their end-of-season awards the following day.
Max Cleworth picked up two awards after another superb campaign from the centre-back.
Ollie Rathbone is Wrexham’s Player of the Season after finishing with eight goals in his debut year following his transfer from Rotherham United.
While he did not play much in the second half of 2024/25, Paul Mullin won an award of his own.

Phil Parkinson on Paul Mullin goal
Mullin won Wrexham’s Goal of the Season award last weekend for his strike against Blackpool on December 26.
Ryan Reynolds sent a message to the striker at the time, being left in awe of the effort.
Manager Phil Parkinson has now been reacting to Mullin’s goal, as per Leader Live, which he described as brilliant.
He said: “It was a brilliant strike and with his left foot as well.
“When you think that is his weaker foot, it was a really good goal out of nothing which he has got the capability to do.”

Wrexham plan for Paul Mullin already confirmed by Phil Parkinson
The 30-year-old last played for Wrexham on January 28 versus Stevenage, being left out of every matchday squad since then.
It’s led to speculation that Mullin could leave Wrexham in the 2025 summer transfer window despite being under contract until 2027.
However, it looks as though the Liverpool-born star, along with Ollie Palmer, is sticking around for the time being.
Parkinson commented on Mullin and Palmer’s future last week, confirming both players will be returning for pre-season.
He said: “Mulls and Ollie will always be legends at this club for what they’ve done. They’re under contract next year and they’ll be back in pre-season ready to go again.”
