Wrexham return to action against Blackpool on Monday, but whether Paul Mullin features remains to be seen.
Paul Mullin has seen his senior minutes in the 2024/25 season reduced heavily since the turn of the year.
The arrivals of Sam Smith and Jay Rodriguez on January 31 have greatly hampered the 30-year-old’s ability to earn playing time.
Wrexham fans want Paul Mullin back, but the striker, who has over 100 goals to his name since signing, has not featured in any of the club’s last 15 League One fixtures.
However, despite not being at his best so far this season, the striker has still earned praise from Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds.

What Ryan Reynolds said about Paul Mullin after Wrexham beat Blackpool
Wrexham face Blackpool on Easter Monday in a tie they have to win in order to keep the pressure on second-place Wycombe Wanderers.
Blackpool have a staggering record when playing at home this season, so three points heading back to Wales is by no means guaranteed.
However, the Red Dragons will take solace in the fact that they beat Blackpool 2-1 in the reverse fixture on Boxing Day earlier this season.
Ashley Fletcher put the Seasiders 1-0 up after three minutes of that tie, but goals from Mullin and Steven Fletcher earned the home outfit a big victory.
Following the game, Reynolds reacted to Mullin’s strike versus Blackpool on Instagram, reposting a video of the goal with the caption: “This one. So pretty…” to which the Liverpool-born star then responded: “Merry Christmas with love”.

Why isn’t Paul Mullin playing for Wrexham anymore
It was a stunning effort and one that could still prove key to Wrexham’s promotion chances.
However, it’s now been nearly three months since fans have seen Mullin line out at senior level.
The centre-forward scored in a Central League win for Wrexham recently but isn’t even making matchday squads anymore in League One.
The fact that he isn’t starting is not too surprising after big money was spent on Smith and Rodriguez in the winter.
But it’s baffling that the club legend can’t even make it onto the bench anymore, with Mullin now seemingly the fifth-choice number nine behind Jack Marriott and Steven Fletcher.
