Paul Mullin will not be the last Wrexham player to leave this summer.

Ryan Reynolds sent a heartfelt message to Mullin after the striker completed a season-long loan move to Wigan Athletic.

Wrexham fans are devastated over Mullin’s departure and now have to come to terms with the fact that it is likely the striker will never feature for the club in the Championship.

Phil Parkinson is showing his ruthless nature once again as he prepares to mould a 25-man squad for next season’s challenge and more players are lined up to follow Mullin out the door of the Racecourse Ground.

Wrexham trio set to follow Paul Mullin in transfer exit

Parkinson warned there would be Wrexham exits this summer and it is proving to be the case as Mullin follows the likes of Steven Fletcher and Jordan Davies in leaving.

All eyes now turn to who is next to leave the club. Ollie Palmer has been told to leave by Parkinson as the boss looks to whittle down his excess striker options.

Will Boyle is attracting interest from League Two with Gillingham and Shrewsbury tracking the central defender.

Wrexham have been urged to sell Luke Bolton to complete the likely trio to leave the club next. The Red Dragons are looking to add further quality signings after capturing Ryan Hardie.

It is a matter of when and not if in relation to Palmer and Boyle’s exits but there are major doubts over a number of other Wrexham stars.

Parkinson’s desire to bring in at least one central midfielder this summer means that George Evans is likely to be surplus to requirements.

Meanwhile, Jacob Mendy endured a torrid campaign having made just nine appearances in all competitions and will be looking to find first-team opportunities.
