Wrexham striker Sam Dalby has now completed his move away from the STōK Cae Ras having signed for Bolton Wanderers.
Wrexham’s retained list was announced in May as Phil Parkinson made big changes ahead of Championship life.
Steven Fletcher’s exit surprised some Wrexham fans, while three goalkeepers were moved on in Mark Howard, Liam Hall and Brad Foster.
Sam Dalby’s exit was also confirmed, as the striker decided to reject the offer of a new deal at the STōK Cae Ras.
Wrexham sent Dalby on loan to Dundee United before the summer transfer deadline in what proved to be an inspired move.
Dalby hit 15 goals in 35 league outings for Dundee United, putting himself in the shop window as he snubbed Wrexham’s offer.

Sam Dalby explains Bolton Wanderers switch
Dalby attracted interest from Blackpool but has instead decided to sign for Bolton Wanderers.
Reports suggested that Dalby was undergoing a Bolton medical on Monday, and the Trotters have now confirmed his arrival.
Dalby has penned a four-year deal with Bolton and will be looking to inspire to promotion from League One next season.
Speaking on Bolton’s official website, Dalby has admitted that he can’t wait to start his Bolton career.
Dalby praised Bolton’s history and stadium, as well as the ‘really passionate fanbase’ backing Steven Schumacher’s side.
Dalby claims the decision to join Bolton was ‘straightforward’, believing that the ambition was clear to see.
The former Wrexham hitman says Bolton is the ‘right move’ for him at this stage in his career, as he looks to build on a superb season with Dundee United.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be joining Bolton Wanderers. It’s a huge football club with a great history, an impressive stadium and a really passionate fanbase,” said Dalby.
“As soon as I became aware of the interest and spoke with Fergal and Steven about their plans, it was a straightforward decision for me. The ambition here is clear and the way the team is looking to progress is something I really wanted to be part of. I had a very positive season last year, and I’m eager to carry that momentum forward, contribute with goals and help the team achieve our objectives.
“Choosing Bolton Wanderers feels like the right move for my career, especially with the direction the club is heading. I can’t wait to get out on the pitch and perform for our fans,” he added.

Wrexham players have shown their love for Dalby, responding with support for the striker as he embarks on a new chapter in his career.
Ryan Barnett, Thomas O’Connor, Max Cleworth, Sebastian Revan and Ollie Palmer all congratulated Dalby, with former stopper Howard adding a message of his own.
‘Love it Dalbs, congrats mate,’ said Howard, who played for Bolton before making his move to Wrexham.
Former Wrexham goalkeeper Ben Foster added his support with a clapping emoji, with Dalby clearly a popular figure among Wrexham players.
Dalby wasn’t given a chance to shine in League One with Wrexham, but will now hope to find the net regularly in a Bolton shirt.
