Wrexham have already handed fresh contracts to some of their stops stars during the 2024/25 season.
Wrexham are flying high in League One this season and could be on course to secure yet another promotion.
This continued superb form has seen the club’s top players begin to attract transfer interest from teams in higher divisions, however.
Preston North End and Stoke City were keen on signing Ryan Barnett according to reports that emerged in October.
The right-back has been the club’s most valuable player for much of 2024/25, chipping in at both ends of the pitch.
Phil Parkinson and co. wasted little time killing off any hope of a potential January exit though, with Barnett signing a new Wrexham contract last week.
Elsewhere this season, Ollie Palmer committed his future to the Red Dragons in October – signing a one-year extension that will keep him at the club until 2026.

Matty James to be offered new Wrexham contract
Now, it looks as though Matty James will become the third player to sign a new deal in 2024.
James joined Wrexham on a free transfer at the back end of October following an injury to George Evans that left the Welsh outfit light in midfield.
The 33-year-old has started the Red Dragons’ last two league fixtures, including the win over Lincoln City on Tuesday.
After that match, Wrexham fans sent a James transfer message to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, urging their owners to agree a new contract with the player.
Now, fans are set to get their wish as The Wrexham Insider can reveal that Wrexham are very pleased with how James has performed over the last two games and there’s a very good chance he will get an extension until the end of the season.
The club are expected to try and get a deal done before the Christmas period gets underway, with the extension likely to be until the end of the 2024/25 season.

Matty James responds to Wrexham doubters
Prior to joining Wrexham, James spent several months as a free agent after leaving Bristol City over the summer.
Given his advanced age, his career looked set to stagnate and potentially end amid a lack of suitors.
But the Red Dragons have now given the former Manchester United man a new lease of life, with James responding to his Wrexham doubters this week.
He said: “I want to prove people wrong.
“When I joined I had a lot of people who supported me, but a lot of doubters as well putting a bit of stigma on my age which I completely disagreed with.
“I know my capabilities… I know how my body feels and I know what I can do.”
With games set to come thick and fast over the winter and George Dobson likely to be suspended soon, James should have plenty more chances to prove his doubters wrong in the coming weeks.
