Wrexham have created history with their third successive promotion.
Rob McElhenney’s defiant message indicates the owners are not content until they reach Wrexham’s ultimate goal of Premier League football.
Phil Parkinson will meet with the owners to discuss the club’s transfer plans for the summer as the manager looks to further develop his Wrexham squad for the challenges of the Championship.
It will likely mean a busy summer both in and out of the Racecourse Ground and promotion to the second tier could elevate some careers but end others for the Red Dragons.

Evolution in football is inevitable and even the most loyal Wrexham supporters will understand that they may have to say goodbye to some club legend this summer.
Following promotion to the Championship here are three winners and three losers from the remarkable feat.
Three Wrexham winners following League One promotion
Max Cleworth
Parkinson loves Cleworth and his story typifies the incredible journey that the club have been on over the last few years.
When Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney took over, Cleworth was just 18 years old before Parkinson put his trust in the defender and he has excelled ever sine.
Cleworth’s consistency was rewarded after he was named in the League One team of the season and is the choice of many supporters for Wrexham’s player of the season.
He now has the opportunity to prove what many believe – that he has the quality to play at the very highest level.
George Dobson
When George Dobson joined the Red Dragons from Charlton Athletic last summer, there were a few doubts over whether he would have the ability to take Wrexham to the next level.
Those doubts grew midway through the season, Dobson and Matty James struggled in midfield together and his conservative style of play was criticised.
However, during the promotion run in, the 27-year-old has shown a side of his game that has surprised many and been absolutely outstanding in the middle of the park.
He now has a shot to finally prove he is capable of playing in the Championship having spent the whole of his career in the third tier – Dobson is ready to take his chance.
Phil Parkinson
Over 1000 games as a manager and has now taken the club from National League obscurity to the heights of the Championship.
Parkinson has to be up there as one of the greatest, if not the greatest, EFL managers of all time. His style may not be to everyone’s satisfaction but there is no denying he knows how to get results.
Parkinson’s Championship record is not the greatest following previous stints however, the boss will be more determined than ever to change that around with this wonderful group of players.

Three Wrexham losers following League One promotion
Paul Mullin
David Prutton believes Wrexham will sell Paul Mullin and given his lengthy exile from the matchday squads, that seems highly likely this summer.
However, Mullin will go down as one of Wrexham’s all time greats and has given absolutely everything he has for the Red Dragons.
He will still believe that at 30 years of age, he can contribute goals to another side and there is no doubt about that but in the Championship with Wrexham it is highly unlikely.
Fans want Mullin included against Lincoln and it would only right to give the striker the farewell he deserves from his adoring supporters should it be his final bow.
Ollie Palmer
Similar to Mullin, Ollie Palmer will leave the club as a Wrexham great following his outstanding contribution since arriving in January 2022.
Bradford wanted Palmer back in January but he stayed at Wrexham and was rightly part of the iconic celebrations following the victory over Charlton that sealed promotion.
He now has to weigh up his next move in his career, Palmer will have options but it seems his days at the Racecourse Ground are now numbered.
Andy Cannon
Injuries are a cruel part of sport and Andy Cannon’s long term knee injury will likely see his chances at the club diminish even when he does come back fit and strong.
Cannon has been an important part of Wrexham’s recent rise but may be part of the squad overhaul that sees more Championship experience integrated into the squad.
It is highly probably that Wrexham will add one of two midfielders to bolster options in the summer and it would see Cannon move further down the pecking order.
He is another that has been an incredible servant to the club and will focus on getting fit once again before deciding anything on his future.
