Wrexham are hunting for January signings amid claims that one Welsh international fancies a move to the STōK Cae Ras this month.
Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson is no doubt enjoying a period of respite after the busy festive period.
Five games in 14 days is a gruelling schedule for any player and Wrexham battled through to claim 10 points from a possible 15.
Away form remains a concern for Wrexham but Tuesday’s game against Port Vale being postponed allowed Wrexham players to rest.
Wrexham’s trip to Reading this weekend had already been postponed, so this Thursday’s clash with Shrewsbury Town will be the first Wrexham game for nearly two weeks.
Fans are now focused on the January transfer window with Wrexham yet to make a move so far.

Welsh international starts amid Wrexham links
Wrexham’s promotion rivals are making moves early in the window.
Huddersfield Town have signed striker Joe Taylor in a huge move whilst Wycombe Wanderers have explored the European market.
Birmingham City will surely make moves but Parkinson tends to leave his business late in the January window.
A few names have been linked those and an interesting rumour emerged just days ago.
Reports suggest that Hibernian midfielder Dylan Levitt fancies signing for Wrexham this month.
Levitt has previously played with Steven Fletcher and hails from North Wales, so a move to the STōK Cae Ras may appeal.
The former Manchester United talent has been out of favour at Hibernian but actually started in their 3-1 win over Motherwell on Saturday.
The timing is certainly interesting with Hibernian potentially trying to show that Levitt doesn’t need to leave Easter Road for first-team action.
Hibs boss David Gray has now told the Edinburgh Evening News that he loved the composure and control Levitt provided.
Gray accepted that Levitt faded due to fatigue and he ultimately wants to play more, but praised him for taking the chance when it arrived.
“I felt what he would give us today is exactly what he did, a bit of control on the ball,” said Gray.
“We needed to make sure we dominated the ball, make Motherwell have to run about a lot, and he’s got a lot of composure on the ball, and can really dictate where we play. Second half, he fatigued, he’s not played a lot of football, and he got a bit of a bang on his knee as well, but hopefully that’s nothing too serious. So he can be happy with what he’s done today, having been waiting for his opportunity for such a long time.
“He falls into that same category as a lot of the players that haven’t been playing as much as they would like to – but still continue to be the best they can be in training, so when they do get the opportunity, they’re able to step in, and that’s credit to them,” he added.

Dylan Levitt a name to keep in mind
It’s unclear whether Wrexham are reciprocating the interest in Levitt, with this rumour only based in his interest in the move for now.
Wrexham want a new striker this month but midfield additions should not be ruled out.
Elliot Lee needs more competition in the attacking midfield role whilst both James Jones and George Evans have suffered injury problems this season.
Levitt isn’t a number 10 but he has played in advanced roles before and his ability to play deeper would just provide some flexibility for Parkinson.
Wrexham may just keep an eye on how Levitt fares at Hibs and whether he is given consistent minutes moving forward.
Any move would likely come late in the window but we think he is a name to keep in mind as Wrexham seek more signings.
